Field is White and Ready to Harvest

D&C 33:7

7 Yea, verily, verily, I say unto you, that the field is white already to harvest; wherefore, thrust in your sickles, and reap with all your might, mind, and strength.

I am amazed how many people the missionaries are finding and teaching. I think back on my mission and how thin our teaching pool was compared to what it is today. People are hungering and thirsting to find something better . The people are being prepared to receive the gospel. I was surprised the other morning to have a gentleman I had talked to at a baptism call me and just want to have a gospel discussion for 30 minutes. I don’t know that anything will come of it but the seed is planted and I am so grateful to have had that small miracle. The missionaries share all their tiny miracles every day on our missionary message page. It is so inspiring!! Elder Jackson of the Seventy came and talked on how the church is needing and wanting to have a Senior Couple in every Stake of the church . He said they are only halfway there on that goal. I hope that all those couples who read this stop and take a moment and ask themselves , am I willing to figure out how to serve a mission. I can tell you if you want to figure out how to serve a mission you can. I am so inspired by the different Senior Couples we have met that just made a mission a priority and just moved forward in faith and put in their mission papers. Our experience has been amazing so far, how blessed we are. Please come and join the work.

Served with the Elders in Limon, took the sisters to Garden of the God's for P-day and went to driving range with Elder's for P-Day.

Not much of a card player, so this was shocking to be in the championship round.
