Well more time has flown by, hard to believe a week has already passed. The holiday weekend was enjoyed with a little site seeing. Bishops Castle was quite the site to behold. Stairways going here and there, always leading to very scenic views but death defying.
The Royal Gorge was our second stop. I learned the difference between a gorge and a canyon. A gorge is deeper than it is wide. Whereas a canyon is wider than it is deep. It was absolutely gorgeous , it was fun to visit these sites with two other senior couples that we enjoy doing things with..
We have had some great missionary experiences as well. In Limon, we have been teaching a Family History Class, which has been fun, but was even better this past week because we had three people show up. We are able to attend the Lexington Family History center to be taught and trained on how to be better at Family History. I am amazed at how some people have figured out how to find people in Family Search and Ancestry.
Marci and I are learning a lot which helps us with those we are teaching. We were able to take the new members of the Limon Branch to do baptisms for the dead. Wow! what a powerful experience. They keep telling us that they want to go each month, we said we can make that happen.
The Calhan Elders had a great baptism on Sunday, this friend that was baptized really gave the Elders a work-out. She was having fears and doubts, but the Elders were able to help her through her fears and she entered the waters of baptism. She was so thrilled when she received the Holy Ghost. With the help of the members she will be loved and nurtured in the gospel. Sister Hatfield and I gave out our first Book of Mormon this week as well. We hop to follow it up with some lessons with our new friend. God is Awesome! So grateful for all of our experiences so far. To those who are thinking about a mission, stop thinking and step into action. The Lord needs You!!!

I love this. And since there aren't any accidents in this life, I understand you met Sister Mackley, who happens to call Willard, Utah her home. I can't wait to hear what other adventures you will share next time. We love you guys. God bless you all! Wynn
